The Meeting of Clio and Silas

<p>Silas and Clio's story began like any other. Both exhausted from the weight of the neoliberal techno-social cyborg regime, they decided to try out the newest gen-alpha tiktok fitness trend--a retro tamagotchi-inspired orb containing a real, alive ecosystem full of virtually rendered lebubus. the lebubus chase you until you experience cardio, but something had gone wrong in the orb this time, and Silas was trapped under a giant log, pinned by a vicious lebubu. Terrified, they thought, "at least my heart is racing so, cardio,". Just when the lebubu was about to take a huge bite out of Silas's head, Clio came up behind it with a baseball bat, hitting a home run. Silas turned to thank their mysterious rescuer, and their eyes met Clio's for the first time. The nationalist techno-state chips that were embedded at birth immediately activated, and they both said, simultaneously, "it is our destiny to ensure our togetherness is properly sanctioned and surveilled by this greatest New of York! Marriage it must be!!" Booming over the loudspeakers in the lebubu battledome came an alert: "MEET CUTE. MEET CUTE. MEET CUTE. MEET CUTE".</p>
